What to know up front

  • Material & build. Most quartz composite bowls are formed from about 80% natural quartz with ~20% acrylic resin, creating a dense, non-porous body that resists everyday stains and wear.

  • Noise control. Filled composite dampens pot-and-pan impact noise vs. metal—noticeable in open-plan kitchens and showrooms.

  • Colors that just work. Black / white / grey cover most displays and make SKU planning straightforward.

Same-cutout replacement (no countertop re-cut)

Goal: keep the existing cutout, remove the old bowl, set the quartz bowl, seal, and go.

  1. Verify the cutout. Measure L×W and corner radius; note drain/overflow positions. Check the new sink’s tech drawing to avoid faucet or rail conflicts.

  2. Dry-fit & support. Test fit first. Prepare adhesive/caulk and undermount clips/rails; add temporary supports for heavier bowls.

  3. Bonding & fastening. Clean/degrease the rim, apply adhesive per instructions, set the sink, then tighten clips evenly; respect cure time.

  4. Seal & check. Caulk the perimeter, install drain/overflow, fill and hold to leak-check. If the cutout is slightly oversized, use a reinforcement/adapter solution—don’t force-fit

Spec sheet essentials (copy into your RFQ/PO)

  • Material: ~80% quartz / ~20% acrylic resin; non-porous surface.

  • Mounts: Undermount / drop-in / workstation; confirm clip/rail kit and hole options.

  • Sizes: List outer size, bowl size, bowl depth, drain position; share the cutout file or drawing at order stage for same-cutout swaps.

  • Finish: Matte black / white / grey (note any batch color controls if needed).

Care & use (simple card for stores/fitters)

  • Daily: Mild dish soap + soft sponge; rinse and dry to avoid mineral spots.

  • Hard water/scale: Warm vinegar-based cleaner or 50:50 water-vinegar dwell, then rinse clean and dry. Blanco+1

  • Metal marks/scuffs: Magic eraser or a mild abrasive cleaner; rinse thoroughly.

  • Good habits: Use trivets/boards for hot pots and sharp tools; wipe spills and dry after use.

Packaging & hand-off

  • Carton: Drop/stack rating with corner guards; inner bag to protect matte surfaces; clear “Do Not Lift by Faucet Hole” graphic.

  • Photo proof: Photograph all sides at sealing and keep on file (share if the buyer asks).

  • In-box materials: None by default. If the buyer requests items (care card, clip count, QR to cutout files), we include exactly what they specify.
