Frequently asked questions for importers, distributors, wholesalers, and private label buyers. Facts below are consistent with our Buyers Guide.
A. Product & Types
1. What types of kitchen sinks do you supply?
We supply three main types for B2B import and distribution: pressed (stretched) stainless steel sinks, handmade (welded) stainless steel sinks, and quartz composite sinks. Pressed and handmade stainless sinks are manufactured in our own plant; quartz composite sinks are supplied through a partner factory.
2. What is the difference between pressed and handmade sinks, and how do I choose?
Pressed sinks are formed by hydraulically stamping a single stainless sheet into a seamless one-piece bowl with rounded corners. Handmade sinks are built from welded panels with square corners. Pressed suits high-volume standard sizes with lower unit cost; handmade suits custom dimensions, lower MOQ, and square-corner premium designs. See the Buyers Guide for the full comparison.
3. Should I choose quartz composite or stainless steel for my market?
It depends on the customer profile. Stainless steel (pressed or handmade) is durable, recyclable, and cost-flexible across 201/304 grades. Quartz composite offers a matte stone look, color options, and heat/scratch resistance. Note quartz is supplied via a partner factory, not produced in our stainless plant. Match the material to your channel price tier and local preference.
B. Ordering & Production
4. What is the MOQ for each sink type?
Minimum order quantity is 200 pcs per model for pressed stainless sinks, 50 pcs per model for handmade stainless sinks, and 20 pcs per model for quartz composite sinks. A "model" means one SKU defined by size + configuration + finish.
5. What is the standard lead time?
Standard production lead time is about 35 days from receipt of deposit and final detail confirmation (material, size, finish, accessories, packaging). New pressed tooling adds mold time; repeat orders of existing molds are usually faster.
6. Can you provide samples before mass production?
Yes. We can produce a sample (or pre-production sample) for your approval before mass production. Sample cost and lead time are quoted per inquiry; in many cases the sample cost can be discussed against the subsequent mass order. Contact us with your spec to get a sample quotation.
7. What customization can you do (size, depth, finish, drain position)?
For handmade stainless and quartz we can customize dimensions, bowl depth, drain position, and surface finish/color to your specification. Pressed sinks follow existing tooling, so customization is limited to available molds (though new molds can be made). Accessories and packaging can also be customized under OEM.
8. How do you control quality and inspect goods?
Our QC routine includes: incoming material check with Material Test Certificate (MTC) for steel grade; dimensional check against the approved drawing; welding and leak test for handmade bowls; surface finish inspection; bowl water-fill leak test; finished-product thickness verification with a micrometer; and pre-shipment inspection. Third-party inspection (e.g., SGS/BV) can be arranged at buyer cost.
C. Material & Quality
9. Should I use 304 or 201 stainless steel?
304 (about 18% chromium, 8% nickel) has higher nickel and better corrosion resistance, recommended for coastal, humid, or premium markets. 201 (lower nickel, higher manganese) is the economy grade, suitable for budget lines in dry climates. Both are common for kitchen use; 304 is not automatically "better" in every case — different markets and applications require different choices. Verify the actual grade with an MTC rather than trusting the label.
10. What thickness are your stainless steel sinks, and do you provide material certificates?
Typical thickness runs 0.6–1.2 mm (about 24–18 gauge). Our standard pressed models are commonly 0.6–0.8 mm; the 7540 single-bowl series is offered from 0.4 mm up to 0.8 mm, and the 12050 double-bowl series is 0.6–0.8 mm. We verify the grade with a Material Test Certificate (MTC) and can measure finished-product thickness with a micrometer on request.
11. What certifications do you hold, and what compliance documents does my market need?
We can provide compliance documents required by your destination market on request. Because certificate requirements differ by country (for example cUPC for North America, CE for Europe, Watermark for Australia), please tell us your target market during inquiry and we will confirm which valid certificates are available and provide verification. We do not assume or claim certificates that are not applicable to your order.
12. Do you offer a warranty?
Warranty terms are defined per order and confirmed in the proforma invoice / contract. Please discuss your expected warranty scope with our team when placing the order so it is documented clearly.
D. Commercial & Logistics
13. Do you offer EXW or FOB terms?
Trade terms are EXW or FOB Guangzhou only. Under EXW, you collect the goods from our factory; under FOB Guangzhou, we deliver to the Guangzhou port. Buyers handle costs and arrangements outside China.
14. Do you offer DAP or DDP terms?
No. We do not offer DAP (Delivered At Place) or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). We work on EXW or FOB Guangzhou, so the buyer manages international freight and customs clearance.
15. What are your payment terms?
We generally work on T/T (telegraphic transfer) with a deposit to start production and the balance before shipment. The exact deposit ratio is confirmed per order and stated in the proforma invoice. We do not publish fixed price lists, as each order is quoted on its confirmed specification.
16. What information is needed for a quotation?
Share the required sink types and models, estimated order quantity, target dimensions, surface finish, and destination port. We prepare the quotation from these details.
17. What packaging is normally used?
Sinks are normally packed with protective inner padding (EPE foam) and outer export cartons suited to sea freight, with corner protectors. Pressed sinks can be nested to maximize container loading; handmade and quartz sinks receive individual cushioning, and quartz needs impact-resistant corner reinforcement. Packing can be discussed per order, including OEM branded cartons.
18. How are sinks shipped and what documents are provided?
Under FOB Guangzhou we deliver to the port; you (or your forwarder) handle ocean freight. Common containers are 20 ft / 40 ft / 40HQ. We provide standard shipping documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin where applicable. Book logistics early, because production plus transit defines your real lead time.
E. OEM & Private Label
19. Do you support OEM and private label?
Yes. We support OEM and private label for importers and kitchen brands, including branded cartons and custom packaging produced to your artwork.
20. What is the OEM / private label process?
A typical flow: (1) inquiry with your market, size, finish, quantity, and brand needs; (2) spec confirmation (drawings, material grade, thickness, accessories, packaging); (3) quotation at EXW or FOB Guangzhou; (4) sampling for approval; (5) tooling for new pressed models (mold ownership defined in the agreement); (6) mass production after sample approval and deposit; (7) QC; (8) branded packaging; (9) container loading. Clarify mold ownership and exclusivity in the contract before tooling.
21. Can the packaging be customized with my logo?
Yes. OEM packaging with your logo and artwork is available, including cartons, foam, and labels produced to your design.
F. Supplier Verification
22. How can I verify you are a real kitchen sink manufacturer?
You can verify our manufacturing capability through direct communication and transparent documentation rather than marketing claims:
- Factory communication — request a live video call or factory tour.
- Production photos / videos — we can share current production and workshop footage.
- Sample confirmation — evaluate a physical sample before placing a mass order.
- Quality inspection — independent checks including material grade verification and pre-shipment inspection.
- Third-party inspection — SGS/BV or an inspector you appoint can visit the facility if required.
We do not claim "certified factory" status, named famous customers, or verified brands; please verify the facts that matter for your market.
G. Support
23. Can drain accessories be supplied, and are faucets included?
Drain accessories can be supplied on request. Faucets are not included; quoted products are the sinks themselves. Send your required sizes, estimated order quantity, and destination port, and we will review and suggest suitable models. You may also review our ranges: Press & Handmade Sink range, Quartz Sink range, and the Buyer's Guide. For a model review and quotation, contact us via the quote page.
